Samantah Cameron

I live with my parents in Oxford where my father is a Professor of Philosophy. I say father, but I always call him daddy. I love him dearly and he is my best friend. I do hope I can make some lovely new friends at my new school.

My mother is the headmistress of a very small public school for juniors. I love her too, but she has always been very strict with me. On many occasions I have run to daddy for help and he has saved me, but my mother is a law unto herself.

Unfortunately my last school believed in traditional discipline, but Goldie, my teddy bear was there to comfort me. I am attaching a photo of Goldie.

I hope my new school will be kinder to me. I really hope all the other girls will like me. I want so much to be liked.

You might like to know about my interests. My favorite subjects are English, Philosophy and Psychology. At home I like nothing better than to curl up on the sofa in our study and read a book. I have attached a photo of our study. It is such a beautiful room. I also love to stroll in our enormous garden and have included a photo of the garden as well. It is highly conducive to meditation and I hope I will be able to continue my practice at school.

The only other exciting thing about my life is that daddy lectures for part of the year at Sao Paulo University in Brazil and we own an apartment there. Shame it’s not in Rio, as it’s a much more beautiful city. I have only visited Rio once and loved it. I hope to go back. I have picked up enough Portuguese to get by in conversations, but I am not a natural linguist.

I send my best wishes to all at school and can’t wait to meet you. Hopefully, this will be a new big happy family for me.
