APPLY TO OAKS AND PINES

At Oaks and Pines your daughter will receive the best education that is available in the world, and not only in the classical studies but in moral disciplines as well, we insist upon that. When she leaves Oaks and pines she will be able take her place in the business world or in the home if that is her choice. She will have the understanding of a young lady ready to assume her place in the world.

As the only all-girls’ college-preparatory boarding school in Montreux, Switzerland , Oaks and Pines residential program is unparalleled. In addition to its internationally acclaimed academic program, for over 100 years OaksandPines has welcomed resident students in Grades Junior and Seniors, from across the country and around the globe, into a warm family environment that fosters a true sense of community. Resident students form friendships that endure well beyond the walls of Oaks and Pines.

The stunning 288 acre campus is located along Lake Geneva in Switzerland, just minutes from world-class facilities offering myriad opportunities for irreplaceable cultural and educational experiences. Oaks and Pines unique environment fosters students as they become young women, well-prepared to lead in a rapidly-changing world. While living and learning at Oaks and Pines, girls are inspired to learn, question, and explore their school, their city, and their world.

Your daughter will be able to study in our library which is world class and contains all the latest texts as well as the newest in lititary works. We not only provide the classic hard cover works, but can also provide access to the world through the internet on the fastest internet connections. If it happens in the world it happens at Oaks and Pines.

Your daughter will have access to our media lab that is fully equipped to provide the ladies with the tools so that their imagination can become reality. As you can see we have the latest and best equipment so that their work can be completed on time and without any hindrance as we expect the best from our young ladies. All of their work is first quality and we expect only the best from our students.

At Oaks and Pines, students discover and enhance their academic and personal strengths in a residential community where our young ladies enjoy a rigorous curriculum enriched by unique learning experiences and innovative programming that includes Academic Concentration areas of study in the Arts, Animal Science, Global Studies, and STEM. With a 6:1 student/faculty ratio and an average class size of 10, faculty emphasize collaboration and hands-on learning opportunities, proven ways that girls learn best. An Innovation Lab encourages creativity, exploration of ideas, and project-based learning. Oaks and Pines combines the best of tradition with forward-thinking, cutting-edge programs, outstanding facilities, authentic community, leadership opportunities, and an understanding heart that, together, give girls a chance to explore their voice and to prepare for success in life.

We also have a fully functioning radio station where conventional and online radio shows and podcasts are produced and broadcast. Our ladies all work together and take turns fullfilling all the functions of all positions in the business environment. One month they may be broadcasting and the next month they may be producing or selling radio time. All profits are given to charity and to our scholarship programs. Some of our young ladies have received awards for their achievements such as the Shakespeare hour (a podcast that is broadcast every week over the internet and sold to over 2400 radio stations worldwide including the BBC).
